Forward Error Correction In Wireless Sensor Networks Using Modular Block Encoding

Abstract
Abstract- A new technique of forward error correction in a wireless sensor network using block encoding with modular arithmetic is described. We encode the input data using linear transformation over the finite field GF(p) to generate redundancy. The resulting redundant data is transmitted to the destination. At the destination, the redundancy allows the receiver to correct the errors that occur during transmission.
