Author :Rafet Durgut, Oguz Findik

Article Citation :Rafet Durgut ,Oguz Findik , (2017 ) " Robust Synchronization of Multiple Kinect V2 Sensors " , International Journal of Advance Computational Engineering and Networking (IJACEN) , pp. 77-81, Volume-5,Issue-7

Abstract : In recent years, studies using multiple markerless sensors have become widespread. Synchronization is required step if multiple markerless sensors is used on the same system. In this work, we propose an algorithm that enables clients to synchronize with each other on systems using multiple Microsoft Kinect v2 sensors. The proposed algorithm is suitable for real time operation. This algorithm is robust against the inclusion of a new sensor in the system or the removal of existing sensors from the system during operation. It is important to note that the algorithm also has a number of dynamic sensors. Index Terms- Motion Capture Systems, Multiple Kinects, Synchronization.
