Hydrochemical Characteristics of Waters from ARAXÁ City, Minas Gerais State, Brazil

Abstract
Araxá city is a well-known spa occurring at Minas Gerais State in Brazil where occurs Barreiro area that has been subjected to intense debate because of environmental pollution related to the accentuated mining activities developed for the phosphate and niobium exploitation. This paper reports a novel hydrochemical record obtained from the analysis of samples of surface waters, ground waters and rain waters with the aim of focusing the water quality and major pathways for the constituents transport there.
