Acceleration Impact on Center of Gravity Shift of the Moving Water Tanker
In this manuscript, research work is carried out for acceleration impact on Center of Gravity shift of the moving water tankers. The objective of this analysis is to understand balance and stability of different shaped water tankers while moving forward. Considered two different shapes of water tankers mounted on the same type of vehicle. One is rectangular in shape and another is cylindrical in shape. Same volume of water is taken in both tankers and both are moved with same acceleration. Study and analysis of force acting on forward and rear side of the tanker and resultant forces are calculated against some selected acceleration. Centre of gravity shifting for different accelerations and resultant force on water tanker are studied, which are the main parameters for water tanker stability.
