Detection of Breast Cancer Using Machine Learning Algorithms

Abstract
Abstract - Breast cancer is the commonest type of cancer and major cause of death amongst women in today’s world. However, early detection can help in reducing the death rate. Therefore high accuracy in prediction of cancer is really important to make effective and accurate decisions for the treatment. This papers includes the comparison among different machine learning models such as Linear Regression,Support Vector Machine,K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) on the dataset obtained from Kaggle. These machine learning models are trained by using training dataset and further used for the classification.After comparing the results obtained from different classifiers ,it is observed that Random Forest classifier achieved the highest accuracy for the given dataset(97.36%).
