Paper Title
Secure Steganography, Compression And Transmission Of ECG In Point-Of-Care System

Abstract
According to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the protection of patient’s privacy and security is very important for the care of patient’s health. At the same time number of elderly patients is increasing dramatically, due to advancement in medical field. Hence, to reduce labor cost, the Point of Care (POC) technologies have become popular. POC is defined as medical testing at or near the site of patient. Diagnosing cardiac disease in time is of crucial importance to save patient’s life. Therefore, patient’s Electro Cardiogram (ECG) signal and other physiological readings are collected at the site of patient by Body Sensor Network (BSN). It will be transmitted and diagnosed by Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) system. In wireless network, the biomedical data may be vulnerable to attack like tampering, hacking etc. Hence, we are going to propose Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) based steganography technique which combines encryption and scrambling technique to protect patient’s confidential data. This technique allows ECG signal to hide its corresponding patient’s confidential data and other physiological information. Only authorized persons, who have the required security, can extract the hidden secret data from the ECG signal.
