Paper Title
Evaluation of Brucella Antigens in Serological Diagnosis of Brucellosis

Abstract
The diagnostic value of Brucella spp. outer membrane proteins (OMPs) in Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for serological diagnosis of cattle brucellosis has been studied. It was established that B. abortus 19 and B. melitensis Rev-1 OMPs possess distinct antigenicity to antibodies of cows with positive results for brucellosis by Serum Agglutination Test and Complement Fixation Test. Brucella OMPs significantly exceeded the recombinant protein with a molecular weight of 26 kDa by their antigenicity. The results suggest that in the development of ELISA-tests for diagnosing brucellosis not single, but combination of several recombinant proteins should be used.
