Differences in Entrepreneurial Determination Between Malaysian and Indonesian Students

Abstract
This study examines entrepreneurial determination among Malaysian and Indonesian university students. More specifically, it attempts to ascertain levels entrepreneurial determination and differences with respect to country and personal demographics. Questionnaires were used as a research instrument. Responses were obtained from 778 randomly-selected participants at five and six Malaysian and Indonesian universities, respectively. Entrepreneurial determination among the respondents was moderately high regardless of country. It nevertheless differed significantly between genders among Malaysian students, although a similar phenomenon was not observed among Indonesian respondents.
