Abstract : From the past few years, technology has grown at high speed. So, humans are becoming much more dependent on electronic devices and appliances. It has thus led to developing an effective home automation system. The following paper concentrates on building an efficient smart home using mobile application with speech recognition and cloud technology controlling home appliances. Which uses Arduino microcontroller for controlling the appliances via a Bluetooth module for signal transfer and cloud for secondary input source for command & for signal transfer with aid of smartphone running with a custom Android application.
