Abstract : Mathematical modeling and simulation of ethanol batch fermentation with improved equations was investigated. A multistep calculating algorithm was developed in order to achieve more realistic ethanol fermentation kinetic modeling for more precise heat transfer conditions, for better thermal control of fermentation process. Substituting earlier kinetic model parameters with functions creates new set and more complex ordinary differential equation (ODE) systems, subsequently may calculate reaction mass chemical composition and temperature by generated heat flux, may estimate heat transfer to cooling agent. Of the equation systems tested on laboratory and industrial brewing conditions, results smaller reaction mass concentration and temperature gradients by predictive process control. Present work contain an evolved mathematical approach proposal which may be used successfully in computer aided simulation environments.
