Abstract : The coronavirus disease pandemic of the year 2019 has affected a significant number of pregnant women,
underscoring the significance of evaluating newborns closely for the presence of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome
Coronavirus -2 (SARS-COV2) and the potential consequences for neonates born to mothers who test positive for the virus.
Immunity can be strengthened in order to lessen this issue. In light of this, an Ayurvedic approach to child development may
be beneficial. The primary objective of this study is to diagnose and prevent the consequences of exposure to COVID-19
during delivery and its effects on the child's growth and development in a timely manner by providing Saraswatarista with
Gold to babies born to SARS-COV2 Positive Mothers. This will ensure an achievement of the maximum possible overall
growth and development within the child'snatural genetic potential combined with an Ayurvedic regimen. This study is a
retrospective observational analysis comparing sixty newborns. Thirty infants in Group A received Saraswatarista with Gold
orally for a period of six months, while the infants in Group B did not get Saraswatarista with Gold. Based on inclusion and
diagnostic criteria, the babies delivered to the COVID-19 positive moms in the covid care facility in Dharashiv, Maharashtra,
India—have been carefully selected. Each infant in the two groups was assessed at birth, on Day 7, on Day 15, on Day 28, at
two months, four months, six months, nine months, and a year of age as per the objective and subjective criteria and Ages
and Stages Questionnaire Scale 3. After critical statistical analysis and appropriate interpretation of data. It was observed that
given Sarasawatarista with Gold have significantly better result on the health indices of the infants especially on
neurodevelopment, growth and immunity of the children. The mother’s infection with COVID-19 during pregnancy does
not have a significant effect on the average total score of different areas of ASQ questionnaire and other observed health
indices of the infants. Saraswatarista with Gold has positive effect on the health of the infants. The study group infants
showed better improvement in various aspects of Growth and Development in comparison with control group.
