Abstract : To explore the effects of two week green tea leaf treatment on hand contractured long term bedridden elderly
patients. The hypotheses were that green tea leaf treatment improves odor and skin condition level after intervention and
over two week period. We carried out a randomizedcontrolled trial. 27 hands from 22 patientswere randomly assigned to
either green tea leaf treatment (n1=14) or standard rolled towel treatment (n2=14), and measured by odor and skin level. We
verified deodorizing effect of green tea leaf treatment and have curative properties against ulcer in palm and fingers.
