Abstract : Acupressure is an ancient healing art using the fingers to gradually press key healing points, which stimulate the body’s natural self-curative abilities. It was developed in Asia over 5,000 years ago. The theory is implemented in a prototype which is designed to provide an automatic acupressure therapy. 12 organs of a human body were harnessed through the trigger points present on a human palm. Prototype uses 9 keys having 19 mini coin/pancake vibrators in order to give the pressure on the trigger points of palm so as to stimulate the areas to release the tension and increase the blood flow. 20 volunteers participated in experimentation and were asked to use prototype for acupressure for 10 minutes each and were questioned about level of stress they feel. Most of the volunteers accepted that the level of stress they feel is minimized. Keywords- Acupressure, Bio-Energy, Meridian, Prototype.
