Abstract : This report discusses the functions, features, components & elements and examples regarding real-time flood
forecasting & early warning system. Every year thousands of people lose their lives to floods and storms. Mostly people
suffer in third world countries, due to lack and funds and awareness. However, now many countries where floods are regular
annually emphasizing on the need of flood management and prevention. This report purposes that why real time flood
forecasting and warnings are important.
