Paper Title
A New Metamaterial based Monopole Antenna for 5G Mobile Communication Networks

Abstract
Abstract - This paper presents a monopole antenna for 5G applications. The proposed design is designed to operate at sub-6GHz band to suite the nano-cell BTS nods. The patch circuitry is based on eight cell metamaterial (MTM) unit cells to enhance the antenna gain-bandwidth products. The antenna design is printed on an FR4 substrate with a relative permittivity of 4.3 and 1.67mm thickness. The proposed antenna size is miniaturized to 51×24mm2. The antenna parts are connected to a single feed line based on a monopole design. The antenna design is simulated using CST microwave studio commercial software package. It is found that the proposed antenna realizes S11 magnitudes Nevertheless the antenna radiation patterns are evaluated at 3.7GHz, 4.6GHz, 5.2GHz, and 5.9GHz. This analysis is conducted . Keywords - CST, MTM, Monopole Antenna and Microstrip.
