Abstract : There are several approaches that we need to delineate the earth's sub-surface, some of which include an assortment of sensors. But it is tough to use just one channel and one Sensor. Using two sensors to avoid several sensors from calculating and applying the same first arrival time for future signal analysis by continuous wavelet transformation. In the velocity determination of sub surfaces, the first arrivals play a significant role. The set of seismic traces corresponding to a particular midpoint is called the range of common midpoints (CMP). Seismic data logging is more complicated than its basic concepts. Typically, geophysical surveys are carried out in a region of interest by specifying an energy source and a set of sensors / receivers. Initially, the suggested approach utilizes two seismograph channels to extract the first arrival time from distinct offsets. The delay time also increases as the offset increases. These delay time must be applied before first arrival data is traced by the receiver. The use of a single channel seismograph and single sensor is appropriate for continuous wavelet-based geophysical seismic reflection signal study of any two offset traces. The continuous wavelet transformation allows the one-dimensional signal to be transformed to a two-dimensional representation.
