Paper Title
Impact of Variation of Loading Conditions on The Dynamics of Thermal Hydro Power System

Abstract
In this paper, the effects of variation of loading conditions based on the load frequency control characteristics of power system. A two-area thermal-hydro power system that is coupled to one another is modelled using a traditional PID controller. The system experiences a random variation in load from area 1. Throughout the day power plants are operated at different levels of generation due to different loading conditions. The reaction of power system is evaluated in terms of maximum overshoot (MP) and settling time (ts) at each loading condition with load disturbances at different levels. Keywords - Loading Condition; Frequency Deviation; Peak Overshoot; Settling Time; Two area Model.
