Paper Title
Real-Time Object Detection & Information Retrieval Using Deep Learning
Abstract
Blindness or visual impairment is a problem that affects people everywhere. At least 2.2 billion people worldwide
have some sort of vision impairment or blindness, of whom at least 1 billion are blind, according to the World Health
Organisation (WHO) [1]. Regionally speaking, low- and middle-income areas have a four times higher prevalence of vision
impairment than high-income areas. White sticks, assistance pets, screen-reading software, magnifying lenses, and other
mobility aids are typically required for blind people; however, in order to assist the blind, To instruct people about items in
addition to their physical placements, the audio world must be changed from the visual world. Therefore, we recommend
using a method that is most practical, small, and affordable to assist the visually impaired. So, We presented a system
employing a Raspberry Pi and the YOLO v3 machine learning algorithm that has been trained on the COCO database. This
method not only allows those who are visually impaired to move around, but it also lets them know that there are XYZ
objects ahead rather just barriers in their path.
