Paper Title
Recent Advancements of Hybrid Intelligence Approaches for Nanoscience and Computational Materials
Abstract
This review paper summarizes the recent advancements of hybrid intelligence approach – a synergistic
combination of human intelligence and artificial intelligence. This paper reviews its recent applications to nanoscience and
computational physics. The hybrid intelligence’s two pillarsare human intelligence and artificial intelligence to understand,
learn, and unravel complex physics rules behind challenges of small data, interwoven multiple physics, and the lack of
known first principle. The human intelligence offers creative insights and basic physics knowledge while artificial
intelligence offers rule-searching capabilities and powerful computations. The applications span diverse frontiers at
nanoscience and materials science. This paper provides a summary about their notable performances and their promising
potentials.
