NLP Paraphrase Generator Using Parrot Paraphraser
Abstract
One of the most important and challenging tasks in the field of Natural Language Processing is high-quality
Paraphrase Generation. Large-scale pre-trained models like OpenAi’s GPT have been proven very powerful in their
capability to generate fluent, well-formulated, and grammatically consistent text for phrase completions. This paper
leverages the Parrot paraphrasing library integrated with state of the art models such as T5 to perform sentence paraphrasing
by configuring the parrot model and displays the paraphrased sentences based on user-provided phrases, allowing finetuning
of paraphrasing settings to meet specific requirements for adequacy, fluency, and diversity in generated paraphrases.
The paper showcases the functionality of the Parrot model for sentence paraphrasing and enables customizable paraphrasing
options for various applications.
