The Potential of the Indian Knowledge System in Contemporary Art and Photography

Abstract
The Indian knowledge system infuses ancient philosophies, traditional art forms, spiritual insights, enriching expressions, and encouraging intellectual communication and cultural heritage in contemporary art and photography. It represent as a source of identity, inspiration, and thoughtful meaning for artists and photographers, enhancing cultural wisdom and encouraging a unique fusion of modernity and tradition. The impact and integration of the Indian knowledge system on contemporary art and photography practices remain unclear. It requires further exploration to understand its depth and full extent of knowledge. Using qualitative research methods, the study explores how artists and photographers are influenced by Indian knowledge and explore its capacity to encourage intercultural global exchanges. This study has elevated the understanding of traditional knowledge in the contemporary world. The study also contributes to the dynamic interaction between tradition and innovation in contemporary art and photography while celebrating the diverse cultural heritage of India.
