Paper Title
Development of Spherical Bearings Utilizing Eccentric Rotation Mechanisms

Abstract
The spherical bearing is used widely for these is micretr of it of railway bridges to control horizontal forces by means of a horizontal resistance device. However, the spherical bearing demands increased size of its resistance device, upper plate, and lower plate when higher resistance to the horizontal force is required, which results in loss of costeffectiveness and constructability. Therefore, a spherical bearing utilizing an eccentric rotating mechanism is proposed to minimize such problem. Previous studies have confirmed the compliance of this new bearing with major performance indicators like the Korean Standards and other domestic performance quality standards. In this study, we compare the experimental results obtained in previous research with those of a detailed analysis model to assess the reliability of the model.
