Analysis Of Human Resource Management Factors Influencing Supply Chain Management

Abstract
Abstract- Global supply chains are evolving into dynamic process networks in which companies connect in novel combinations based on the context and requirements of individual projects. This dynamic environment requires effective communication, team management, and constant lifecycle innovation. Human factors insights in these areas are critical for the effective development of global process networks.The scope of Human Resource Management today is quite limited in the field of supply chain management. An analysis of the Human Resources issues in the Supply Chain Management reveals that there is need to develop skill sets to manage evolving technologies, to overcome a common lack of awareness and understanding of the Supply Chain Management. The goal of this special issue is to examine the ways in which human resource management relates to supply chain functioning. The Indian entrepreneurs known as dabbawallas with bare minimum technological use have managed to achieve six sigma standards in co-ordinating the delivery of home cooked lunch to more than 200000 (2Lakh) customers each day. This paper highlights the ways in which the dabbawallas have given importance to human resource management in their supply chain management strategy and influencing them to exceed customer expectation in this competitive market.
