Abstract : SuanSunandhaRajabhat University, once being a part of the Suan Dusit Palace compound, has been taking into the account of the management of landscape and environment within the university, including waste management.The purpose of this study was to explore level of students’ awareness and behavior towards solid waste problem. Data was collected from 355 students from all faculties and colleges by use of questionnaire. The findings reported that the majority of the students or 61.1 percent had medium level of awareness towards solid waste problem, having19.7percent of those who had lower level, and19.2 percent of the students showed high level. In terms of the behavior, the study revealed that the students significantly showed positive behavior at high level towards solid waste management activities: transformation, collection, reduction and classification.Regarding the behavior, the disposal was significantly found to be at medium level.
