Abstract : The use of induced mutagenesis in the citrus fruits breeding in Georgia began in the 60s of the last century. Many interesting mutant forms of mandarin were obtained by the action of a solution of different concentrations of mutagen (Nesh) on the seeds of mandarin unshiu. The mentioned article presents the study results of the biochemical components of the mandarin Unshiu mutant forms fruits obtained under the influence of different concentrations of the mutagen (NEU) solution. The results have shown that different concentrations of mutagen affect mandarin seeds and, accordingly, on the biochemical components which they include. In most cases, this leads to a positive result. As a result of research mutant forms with a diverse spectrum, have been distinguished the best promising forms with some high taste properties can be used not only in breeding works but also for wide industrial implementation on farms. Keywords - Citrus, Mutagenesis, Mutants, Organic acids, Sugar.
