Abstract : Within the domain of sustainable innovation, the combination of various open innovation methodologies has become a powerful influence in transforming traditional company practices. Open innovation methodologies have proved their amazing success in promoting innovation within the areas of startup firms and the sustainable product environment. This article conducts a case study analysis, exploring the complex dynamics that arise when different open innovation methodologies come together in a startup venture driven by sustainability goals. The case study examines a comprehensive range of open innovation tactics, focusing on their collective impact: Customer-Centric Co-Creation, External Collaborative Ecosystems, Digital Crowdsourcing Platforms, Supplier Involvement in Sustainability, Intrapreneurship, and Organizational Innovation. The analysis reveals the intricate collaboration produced by merging these varied open innovation methodologies. This highlights the capacity of organizations to develop comprehensive strategies that go beyond industry limits, involve a wider range of stakeholders, and promote impactful sustainability projects. The study emphasizes the necessity of modifying open innovation tactics to be in line with the principles and objectives of sustainability-focused businesses, resulting in measurable environmental and social advantages. The case study provides unique insights into how open innovation plays a complex role in promoting sustainability. It highlights the need to establish a culture of cooperation and creativity, not only within a company but also throughout its ecosystem.
