Paper Title
Smart Safety Enhancement and Parking for Vehicles Using Software Defined Iot Network
Abstract
The number of road accidents are increasing day by day. Also the number of causalities are increasing drastically
because of not wearing helmets and seatbelts. There is a demand to develop a safety system that allows the drivers to start
the vehicle only if the helmet or seatbelt is worn. Ensuring if the seat belt and helmet are worn, then only the vehicle is
powered to start by developing a smart system based on Node MCU. When the number of vehicles connected to the network
is large, the management of the network and decision making become complex. One of the solution for the above problem is
Software Defined IoT Networks. SDN is an effective solution to manage and to secure IoT based systems for remote access.
SDN attempts to build a scalable and flexible network by separating the intelligence from the hardware. Some of the
challenging issues such as latency, congestion, security problems can be managed by SDN with its ability to transform the
traditional network paradigm into an adaptable dynamic network. Without any congestion and bottlenecks the smart vehicle
parking is developed by SD IoT network.
