Abstract : In the paper, the possibility of enzymatic glucose detection by porous silicon with silver nanoparticles is
investigated. Porous silicon was prepared by metal-assisted chemical etching with silver chemical deposition. It is shown
that obtained resistor-like structures are sensitive to hydrogen peroxide and thereby can detect glucose via glucose oxidase
reaction with sensitivity up to 0.4 mA/V∙%. Sample preparation conditions greatly influence sensor performance due to
different surface area and surface states density.
